Rachael Dunsmore

 

After being awarded Bachelor Degree of Medical Science in 1990, she worked in the hospital of the university, where she practised acupuncture and herbal medicine and became a qualified Doctor of TCM.
She came to Briton in 1996 and worked very successfully in Sheffield, Southend-on-Sea and London.
Since she moved to Edinburgh with family in 1999 and she has been practising in Mulberry House . She is a member of British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) for over ten years, who regulates this profession in UK and maintains high standards of education, ethics, discipline and practice to ensure the health and safety of the public at all times.
Over the years, Jian has been treating a broad range of complaints and going to China regularly to take extensive trainings in specific areas, including male and female fertility issues, gynaecological conditions, muscular-skeletal & neurological pain and mental-emotional problems. 

 

Rachael Dunsmore is a qualified yoga and martial arts teacher who lives and practices in Edinburgh. She returns to China twice a year to continue her training with Master Yuan Xiu Gang, and teaches in her own school, The Soen Ren School of Spiritual Arts when in Edinburgh. Rachael's aims are to increase strength, softness, and flexibility in the body through various practices; including Taiji (tai chi), yoga, Kung Fu (gong fu) and Qi Gong (chi kung).

Rachael has a special interest in connecting people with their bodies, and to a practice that will have a positive long term impact on their state of health. Her own experiences of anxiety, asthma and tension in the mind and body continue to motivate her to help others.
