Laser Therapy for Smoking Cessation

Laser Therapy for Smoking Cessation

Stopping smoking with the help of Laser Therapy is the way to do it with lots of support. The sessions take place over three consecutive days when the need is greatest.

Dianne worked and trained for six years with Action on Smoking and Health Scotland. During this period she was responsible for providing workplace smoking cessation groups, trained as a counsellor and ran a one to one smoking cessation helpline. She is co-author of the publication 'The Essential Guide to Stopping Smoking'.

In 1996 Dianne established her own company, Smoking Consultancy Associates, and since then has provided smoking cessation support and advice to many companies and individuals.

Since discovering the advantages of using laser therapy to support smokers wishing to stop, this has been used in conjunction with counselling and guidance.

The stop smoking programme with laser therapy takes place over a period of three (usually consecutive) days. The majority of clients stop at the first appointment, and by day three are confidently and happily smoke free.

How does it work?

Laser light therapy works on a principle similar to acupuncture by using non-toxic, low density beams to stimulate energy points on the hands, face and ears. It is totally pain free, very relaxing and extremely successful. Clients who have smoked heavily for years, and 'tried everything' are amazed at the ease with which they finally manage to kick the habit.
