Established in 1999, Mulberry House was originally located in the Edinburgh area of Inverleith before moving to its warm and welcoming premises in the West End. Owners Kirsty and Louise are proud to provide the highest professional standard of trusted and proven complementary healthcare from the city’s leading practitioners, and look forward to meeting you.
Meet the Team

Louise McFarlane – Director
Louise joined Mulberry House as manager in 2009, then six years later became co-owner and director with Kirsty. She is passionate about nurturing and improving a sense of wellbeing and gets the greatest sense of satisfaction from working with people to achieve this.
She is currently enjoying studying horticulture and has a particular interest in ‘green therapy’ which, along with a creative spirit gained through training at Edinburgh College of Art, she aims to incorporate into her work at Mulberry House.

Kirsty Downie – Director
Kirsty has been with Mulberry House since the early days in Inverleith! She has since become director and co-owner alongside Louise.
Kirsty’s journey with natural health began with her pregnancy in her late twenties and has kept her interest ever since. Her work with Mulberry House has helped many others to find a path that is right for them.
Kirsty is also an exceptionally talented florist and when she’s not in Mulberry you can find her foraging for flora for her next creation!

Debbie Lee - Reception Manager
Debbie is our wonderful reception manager who takes care of all the day to day running of Mulberry House. Alongside a career in photography Debbie has always had an interest in holistic healthcare, attending classes here at Mulberry with Avril for many years before joining the team.
When she’s not at work, Debbie enjoys being outdoors; from her back garden to the Highlands and spending time with her family and friends.
