Lauren is a Senior MSK and Sports Physiotherapist who has spent many years working at the pinnacle of professional sport and in private practice. Lauren is a Physiotherapist, Sports Scientist, Acupuncturist, Pilates Teacher, and Sports Coach. She can treat all Orthopaedic, Sports, and Musculoskeletal ailments and Sports Injuries with adults and Paediatrics.
Lauren has a BSc in Sports Science, an MSc in Physiotherapy, and an HND in Sports Coaching and Development. She is a Pilates teacher and has completed many postgraduate courses in areas such as ACL rehab, Medical Acupuncture, Sports Massage, and taping.
Lauren's background is deeply rooted in elite sports. In 2021, she was the first-team Physiotherapist at St Johnstone, then became the lead academy Physiotherapist at Luton Town FC, overseeing all squads from the U9 – U23 squad. In 2022, she returned to Scotland to become the Head First-Team Physiotherapist at Raith Rovers FC for the 2023-24 season. Clinically, she has worked in many private practices, seeing a range of MSK ailments, and is well versed in general MSK conditions, Orthopeadics, and, of course, Sports Injuries. Due to Lauren's expertise, she combines excellent assessment and diagnostic skills with clinical-based evidence-based rehabilitation that is used in professional sports, which she brings to the recreational athlete and non-athletic population.
Lauren is interested in Sports injury prevention, lower back/neck pain, Knee and ankle injuries, Tendinopathy of lower limbs, and the biomechanics of running and movement.
